Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric United Kingdom is seeking a Residential Site Service Engineer to perform planned maintenance, fault finding and repair on our residential product range. You will handle warranty work, remedial tasks, unit replacements and system upgrades, including emergency call-outs.

Applicants should have NVQ Level 2/3 in Domestic Heating & Plumbing or equivalent heating industry experience, strong UK heating industry knowledge, and an awareness of building regulations.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Domestic Heating & Plumbing (6189) or demonstratable heating industry experience.
• Good knowledge of the U.K. heating industry.
• Good knowledge of U.K. building and water regulations.
• G3 Domestic Unvented Hot Water qualification (preferred).
• Electrical qualifications – (Part P or Equivalent).
• Full clean driving license.
• Proficient IT and Microsoft Office skills.
• Recognised HVAC Service and Maintenance qualifications.
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety and safe systems of work (IOSH, NEBOSH).
• Experience working with members of the public and the sensitivities of working in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and fault finding on Mitsubishi Electric residential products.
• Perform warranty and remedial works as required.
• Carry out unit replacements and system upgrades.
• Respond to emergency call-outs in a timely manner.
• Produce concise, well-written technical reports submitted on time.
• Maintain high H&S compliance in line with company standards.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge of LES Residential range.
• Provide first-time fix where possible.

Role summary:

The Residential site service engineer carries out the tasks related to supporting the Mitsubishi Electric range of residential products and solutions. The main focus of the role will be on Planned preventative maintenance and fault finding and repair works. Additional areas will be:

• Warranty works
• Remedial works
• Unit replacements & system upgrades
• Emergency call outs

Skills/Responsibilities:

• Perform all activities in-line with high customer service centricity, department standards and company principles.
• Achieve high levels of maintenance, repair and system upgrade standards
• Provide clear problem solving and remedial works suggests with effective and clear conclusions and recommendations
• Wherever possible, carry out a "first time fix"
• Produce concise, well written technical reports that are submitted on time and in full.
• Achieve high levels of H&S compliance in line with company and industry requirements
• Effectively problem solve on the customer’s behalf
• Proactively maintain a high level of product knowledge on all aspects of the LES Residential product range.

Experience:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Domestic Heating & Plumbing (6189) or demonstratable heating industry experience
• Good knowledge of the U.K. heating industry
• Good knowledge of U.K. building and water regulations
• G3 Domestic Unvented Hot Water qualification
• Electrical qualifications – (Part P or Equivalent)
