Job summary

BardWood Support Services is seeking an Area Support Officer in Belfast to provide security across client premises and retail sites. The role involves patrols, monitoring access, and responding to incidents with professional communication to staff and visitors.

You must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor licence, have your own vehicle, and be willing to travel. The position requires flexibility and a 5-year work history, with opportunities to transfer after 12 weeks.

Qualifications

• SIA Door Supervisor licence valid and current.
• Driver with access to own vehicle is required.
• Willingness to travel between sites as needed.
• Flexibility to work across multiple contracts and duties.
• Experience in retail environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide security support across client premises and retail sites.
• Carry out regular patrols and maintain a visible security presence.
• Cover at different sites as required by the business.
• Monitor access and egress; respond to incidents appropriately.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors and clients.
• Complete incident reports and follow ASCONE/SAFER procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and escalate issues when needed.
• Travel between sites and support other duties as required.
