Job summary

BardWood is seeking reliable Area Support Officers to provide security across client premises and retail sites in Derby. You will carry out patrols, maintain a visible security presence, monitor access and respond to incidents following ASCONE/SAFER procedures.

Ideal candidates will hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor license, own a vehicle, be able to travel between sites, and work flexible day/night shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor license.
• Must be a driver with access to their own vehicle.
• Must be willing to travel reasonable distances as required by the business.
• Must be willing to work within retail environments.
• Must be flexible and understand that they may also be assigned to other duties and contracts where required.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide security support across various client premises and retail sites.
• Carry out regular patrols and maintain a strong security presence.
• Provide cover at different sites as required by the business.
• Monitor access and egress and respond to incidents appropriately.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors and clients.
• Complete accurate incident reports and follow ASCONE/SAFER procedures.
• Respond confidently to emergencies and elevate issues when required.
• Travel between sites and support other duties as required.
