Job summary

BardWood Support Services is seeking a reliable Area Support Officer to provide security across client sites in Eastbourne. The role involves patrolling, maintaining a visible security presence and responding to incidents, with a variety of environments and travel between sites.

The position requires a valid SIA Door Supervisor license, a valid driver's license with own vehicle, willingness to travel, and the ability to work flexible day and night shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor (DS) licence.
• Must be a driver with access to their own vehicle.
• Must be willing to travel reasonable distances as required by the business.
• Must be willing to work within retail environments.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide security support across client premises and retail sites.
• Carry out regular patrols and maintain a strong security presence.
• Provide cover at different sites as required by the business.
• Monitor access and egress and respond to incidents appropriately.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors and clients.
• Complete accurate incident reports and follow ASCONE/SAFER procedures.
• Respond confidently to emergencies and el.
• Travel between sites and support other duties as required.
