Job summary

Fire And Security Careers is seeking a Technical Project Manager/Commissioning Engineer for London. You will lead commissioning and project management of large, enterprise security systems, focusing on Access Control and IP CCTV.

Responsibilities include coordinating with consultants, IT teams and end users, surveying sites, designing solutions, and guiding on-site engineers to successful handover. Preferred experience with Genetec, Milestone XProtect, Axis, Paxton and Sipass/SIpass products is

• Experience commissioning and project managing large, complex integrated PC-based enterprise security systems.

• Survey sites and design/advice on security solutions for integration and handover.
• Strong fault-finding and customer-facing communication, leading engineers to project completion.

• Plan projects, review designs, manage purchasing, and handover to clients.

Enterprise Security Systems Technical Project Manager (Sipass Access Control) - London - c. £70k

• Salary c. £70,000 (depending on experience)

Are you a Security Systems Commissioning Project Manager OR Commissioning Engineer seeking off the tools - working London?

We are looking for a confident and technically capable Project Manager Commissioning Engineer or Project Engineer with experience of commissioning and project managing large, complex integrated PC based enterprise security systems

• You would be used to commissioning Access Control and IP CCTV systems
• Have networking and Integration of Multidoor access and software based CCTV experience such as Genetec, Avigilon, Siemens SiPass, Axis, Lenel S2, Milestone, etc
• Coordinate and inform consultants, in house teams, IT departments and end users to deliver projects safely, ontime and to technical spec
• Survey Sites and Design/ Advise on solutions
• Deal with Customers/ Clients when managing projects to completion
• Account Manage to ensure clients/ customers are getting what they want
• Lead the successful delivery of complex integrated physical security projects valued from small upgrades through to large multi-site NHS programmes.
• Do project planning, design reviews, buying, organisation, commissioning to client handover.
• Manage Contractors and engineers throughout projects.
• Coordinate installation of enterprise Access Control, CCTV, VMS and network infrastructure across live environments
• Provide senior technical support to Engineers

Duties will be on large sites in and around London such as Universities, Hospitals and you would be using engineering skills and project management abilities both.

Skills such as fault-finding, communicating with clients, advising and using customer-facing skills, such as the ability to manage installs/ project management, leading other engineers, and seeing projects through to successful completion and handover for CCTV, and Access control on large enterprise level security systems.
