Job summary

Securitas UK is seeking a Site Security Manager in Macclesfield to lead security teams, oversee operations and build strong client relationships while maintaining high standards of safety and service.

You’ll manage shift leadership, scheduling, compliance and training, and drive continuous improvement. This role demands dedication to integrity, vigilance and helpfulness in delivering around-the-clock security solutions.

Qualifications

• Front Line SIA qualification is required for security operations.
• Right to work in the UK is essential.
• A valid Driving License is preferred for site access and mobility.
• A five-year checkable employment history or documentation in case of gaps.
• CCTV knowledge is desirable for surveillance duties.
• IOSH or higher qualification is desirable for health and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop security teams to ensure high performance and alignment with client requirements.
• Promote and exemplify Securitas values: Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.
• Manage scheduling, Timegate and holiday planning up to 6 months in advance for both sites.
• Conduct monthly site audits to ensure contract compliance and procedures.
• Oversee attendance management and take action on absence trigger points.
• Carry out investigations and disciplinary actions as required.
• Support training development with Branch/Training Team and ensure policy compliance.
• Ensure Health & Safety procedures and PPE compliance across the team.

As Site Security Manager, you’ll be at the heart of the operation, providing strong day-to-day leadership and acting as a key point of contact for our security teams and client. Job Description

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead and support the security teams, ensuring they are well-trained, briefed, and ready to perform their duties at all times.
• Promote and exemplify the Securitas values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.

Operational Management:

• Manage scheduling, Timegate, and holiday planning up to 6 months in advance for both sites.
• Conduct monthly site audits to ensure compliance with contract paperwork and procedures.
• Oversee attendance management, taking action when absence trigger points are reached.

Compliance and Training:

• Conduct investigations and disciplinary actions as required.
• Support the development of specialist and contractual training with the Branch/Training Team.
• Ensure all policies and procedures comply with legislative and ISO 9002 requirements.
• Health & Safety:
• Ensure the security team understands and complies with all Health & Safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Operational Support:

• Maintain a thorough understanding of all departmental operational functions.
• Support the Branch Manager/Deputy Branch Manager with additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Have a five-year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment, and part-time education during that period.
