Job summary

allpay is seeking an experienced Site Security Manager to oversee security operations at the Hereford site. You will plan and manage security measures to protect people, assets and operations, leading a 24/7 on-site team and coordinating with internal departments and external agencies to maintain a compliant environment.

You will lead on physical security design, manage suppliers, and ensure PCI compliance while driving security improvements and incident response readiness across the site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security management, site-based preferred.
• Experience with CCTV, alarms and access control technologies.
• Experience managing supplier performance and reviews.
• Relevant health & safety qualifications (IOSH/NEBOSH) are an advantage.
• Security qualifications and licensed status (SIA) are preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good communication and confidentiality.
• Knowledge of UK security laws and regulations.
• Event management experience is a plus.
• Hours flexibility including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead on all physical security design and implementation across the site.
• Oversee access control, CCTV and alarm systems.
• Manage security suppliers and contractors for value and PCI compliance.
• Lead a 24/7 security team and rota.
• Respond to incidents and coordinate with emergency services.
• Manage security projects with defined timelines and stakeholders.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and conduct audits/inspections.
• Provide guidance on security standards to staff.
• Maintain records to high standards.
• Collaborate with HSE and information security on policies.
• Support estates in supplier management for upgrades and business cases.
