Hamilton Barnes partners with a technology-driven trading firm to hire a Site Reliability Engineer for its Platform Engineering team in London. The role focuses on building internal platforms, tooling and automation to support a global production environment.

You’ll work across Linux, distributed systems and cloud-native technologies, developing scalable tooling that improves reliability, observability and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong experience programming with Python and Go.

This role sits at the intersection of software engineering and infrastructure, focusing on building the internal platforms, tooling and automation that support a global production environment.

You'll work across Linux, distributed systems and cloud-native technologies, developing scalable tooling that improves reliability, observability and operational efficiency. It's an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving infrastructure problems through software rather than manual administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
