Job summary

Apple Services Engineering (ASE) is hiring an SRE to own the full infrastructure stack, from low-level performance tuning to CDN traffic management. You will work across Linux, open-source tools, and internal services to deliver reliable, scalable systems for Apple’s media platforms.

You’ll collaborate with developers to improve tooling, automate operations, and strengthen monitoring and observability in a hybrid multi-datacenter environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced experience with programming languages Go, Python, Ruby, Bash.
• Strong ownership and collaboration across teams; deep systems knowledge.
• Hands-on with source control and CI/CD: GitHub, Artifactory, Jenkins.
• Automation advocate focused on reducing operations via software.
• Solid Linux knowledge and networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Own the full infrastructure stack from kernel to network performance.
• Design, deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot distributed services.
