Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer in London to join the Apple Services Engineering team. You will help sustain large-scale services powering the App Store, Apple Music, TV, Podcasts and Books for users worldwide.

As an SRE, you’ll work with Linux, open source tools and internal software to manage configuration, deployment, logging and monitoring. You’ll collaborate with development teams to deliver secure, scalable services, and you’ll apply automation to reduce toil and improve

Qualifications

Advanced experience with programming languages and a passion for designing and building reliable systems.
Strong sense of ownership and integrity demonstrated through clear communication and collaboration with deep systems and infrastructure knowledge.
Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with source code and artifact management systems, CI/CD infrastructure such as GitHub, Artifactory and Jenkins.
Automation advocate—truly believes in removing operational load with software.
Understanding of Linux OS, networking protocols, and core components.

Responsibilities

Create outstanding customer experience, and help developers write better code faster.
Troubleshoot complex distributed systems running on bare metal and virtualized environments.
Participate in code reviews and provide precise feedback.
Continuously evaluate and improve delivery processes within the team.
