Job summary

Made Tech is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to facilitate service onboarding and ongoing maintenance. The role is based in the UK with flexible hybrid working options. The successful candidate will engage in proactive collaboration, conduct code reviews, participate in incident management, and implement enhancements using DevSecOps practices. Qualifications

• Successful applicants must demonstrate coding changes or bug fixes.
• Experience with common IT service management tooling required.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and ways of working is essential.
• Experience with incident management is a must.
• Candidates should have cloud technology experience, preferably AWS.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language and SOLID principles is necessary.
• Knowledge of IaC tools like Terraform is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in knowledge transfer activities with suppliers.
• Conduct code reviews and quality analysis.
• Review and enhance technical documentation.
• Ensure all support requests meet standards and suggest improvements.
• Participate in incident investigation and technical solutions.
• Implement application enhancements for better business performance.
• Provide out-of-hours support as needed.
• Automate application performance monitoring.
• Update documentation including knowledge base articles.
• Apply test-driven development principles.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to Made Tech’s communities of practice.
