Job summary

zerohash is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (EMEA) to join our Platform team. Based in the EMEA region and aligned with standard working hours, you will co-own production services and help ensure reliability and scalability across our infrastructure.

You will partner with Software Engineering to drive operational improvements, build benchmarks, enhance CI/CD, and participate in weekly on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience deploying, managing and troubleshooting infrastructure in AWS.
• Full lifecycle deployment of containers to production environments using self-managed Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS.
• If the perfect tool isn’t available you wrote one and taught others how to use it.
• Understand CI/CD and built custom tooling to deploy code to production environments.
• Able to solve problems in distributed Linux systems and trace requests across applications, systems and networks.
• Proficient in at least two programming languages and capable of automating routine tasks.

Responsibilities

• Co-own production services to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Deliver new features and operate existing services.
• Collaborate with Software Engineering to drive operational improvements via metrics.
• Develop and maintain performance benchmarks for applications.
• Improve CI/CD and release processes to shorten dev-to-prod cycles.
• Provide SRE/Operational support such as tooling, monitoring, automation, and workflow management.
• Participate in weekly on-call rotation to investigate and resolve potential issues.
• Manage and scale various infrastructure systems.
