Responsibilities:

1. Contract Site Reliability Engineer (1-2 year contract, Hybrid - London, UK)
2. Schedule and monitor real-time trading systems using DevOps methodologies
3. Monitor open and close of markets related to the system
4. Reduce the number of trading hiccups
5. Monitor and escalate real-time system alerts
6. Handle triage for the trade system
7. Diagnose and resolve system issues
8. Provide updates to the options desk team
9. Coordinate resolution calls with Vendors and Traders
10. Escalate production issues
11. Follow and resolve regulatory testing for the trading environment
12. Deliver and maintain high-quality information

Requirements:

1. 2+ years of IT experience
2. Experience working in a Linux environment
3. Good knowledge of Unix
4. Understanding of TCP/IP and UDP networking applications
5. Basic understanding of network routing and troubleshooting
6. Basic experience in writing SQL queries
7. Proficiency in Bash, Python, or other scripting languages
