Job summary

Cavendish (Recruitment) Professionals Ltd is seeking a Site/Project Manager for a well-established client based in Gatwick. You will oversee daily site operations, coordinate subcontractors and site teams, and ensure programmes and milestones are delivered safely and on time.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication with clients and consultants, and a proven track record in groundworks or civil projects.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Manager or Project Manager in groundworks, civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Proven track record delivering projects safely and on time.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and site teams.
• Commercial awareness and programme management experience.
• CSCS Management Card (Essential)
• SMSTS (Essential)
• First Aid at Work
• Fire Marshal Certification
• Full UK Drivers License (Essential)

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations and project delivery.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Monitor project programmes and ensure key milestones are achieved.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health & safety regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance checks.
• Manage project documentation, reporting and progress updates.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and senior management.
• Identify and resolve site issues to maintain programme objectives.
• Oversee labour, materials and plant requirements.
• Drive high standards of workmanship and operational excellence.
