Site Production Manager

Trafford Park, Manchester
£50,000 per annum
Monday to Friday, 44 hours per week.

Your Role

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our prestigious bodybuilder brand as a Site Production Manager at our factory in Manchester. If you are fully qualified in your profession and passionate about leading production operations, this role is for you.

As the Site Production Manager, you will oversee the smooth operation of the production site, managing daily workflows, meeting production targets, and maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards. Your expertise in lean manufacturing, workflow management, and materials control will drive continuous improvement across the site.

You will also be responsible for setting up and managing the production facility to align with business objectives, mentoring your team, and collaborating with stakeholders to optimize processes and manage risks.

Your role is crucial to business success. You will spend at least 60% of your time managing and guiding your team, ensuring departmental achievements. Effective communication, a positive outlook, and inspiring leadership are key to your success.

Day-to-day Responsibilities
  1. Oversee daily workflow, ensuring production schedules and targets are met.
  2. Ensure compliance with policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
  3. Manage materials control to ensure resource availability.
  4. Implement and monitor 5S principles for workplace efficiency.
  5. Lead lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste and improve processes.
  6. Proactively identify challenges and mitigate risks.
  7. Lead people management activities, including recruitment, performance reviews, training, and development.
  8. Communicate regularly with stakeholders on safety, quality, delivery, and costs.
  9. Accurately log production hours and attendance.
  10. Participate in meetings on progress, KPIs, and improvements.

Training will be provided where needed, and support will be available to help you grow in your role.
