Job summary

Bio Capital, based at Earnside Energy, Binn EcoPark, Glenfarg, Perth, seeks a dedicated Site Operator to support daily operations of a renewable energy plant. The role involves basic maintenance, cleaning, lab testing, machinery operation and more within a safety-conscious environment.

Ideal candidates will have SCADA experience, be comfortable working outdoors, and hold a UK driving licence. A strong focus on safety, teamwork and accurate data recording is essential for daily plant performance

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outside.
• Must be willing to work with food waste.
• Must use own initiative.
• Previous SCADA operations experience is essential.
• Ability to work with computers and technology.
• Good communicator.
• Can identify risks and hazards.
• UK Driving Licence.
• PAS110 and PAS100 awareness desirable.

Responsibilities

• Incoming load inspection and acceptance for both AD and IVC Operations.
• Working as part of a team to ensure KPI’s are met for the company budget.
• Taking samples for laboratory testing and daily recording of AD plant performance data.
• Promote and demonstrate safe working practices at all times.
• Operation of plant machinery including daily checks and immediate reporting of defects.
