Job summary

SUEZ is hiring at Claymore Drive, Bridge of Don, Aberdeen for a part-time, permanent role working 24 hours per week. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service at the site while ensuring safety and environmental responsibilities are met.

You will contribute to material recovery processes, maintain accurate records, and support the site team with flexible coverage including holidays and sick days. Training for IOSH health & safety and COTC Level 4 is possible.

Qualifications

• Good level of customer service and ability to work in a team.
• Full training will be provided.
• Potential to gain IOSH health & safety and COTC level 4 (waste industry).
• Ideally prior mobile plant use is desirable, but training will be given.
• Flexible approach to cover holidays/sick days.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and assist members of the public on how to use the site to maximise material recovery.
• Maintain records for removal of materials and book loads to keep space.
• Keep the site tidy within your area of responsibility.
• Ensure health, safety and welfare compliance for employees and others.
• Co-operate with SUEZ and with others to comply with site permit and company policies.
• Perform other duties reasonably requested within the job scope.

About This Role

• Friday to Sunday 9am to 5pm
• 30 mins paid lunch

About The Role

What will I be doing?

Providing Excellent Levels Of Customer Service, You Will Advise And Assist Members Of The Public On How To Use The Site In Order To Maximise Recovery Of Materials They Are Depositing, Which Will Involve

• Maintaining accurate records for the removal of materials from the site.
• Controlling the exchange of containers by booking loads with the relevant person, thus ensuring the site always has space to segregate and store material correctly.
• Maintaining a tidy site within your areas of responsibility.
• Ensuring SUEZ complies fully with its legal duties in respect of the health, safety and welfare of its employees and of other people who may be affected by his/her actions or omissions.
• Co-operating with SUEZ and with other employees in order to comply with the site permit, comply with all applicable legislation, and SUEZ Policies and Procedures.
• Any other duties that are reasonably requested within the scope of the job-role.

What are the requirements?

With the potential to gain qualifications including IOSH health & safety and COTC level 4 (waste industry specific), we are looking for an enthusiastic team player who will be expected to join the current site team to ensure operations exceed the standards required.
