Job summary

Landmarc Support Services is seeking a Site Operative to look after Training Estate facilities at Castlemartin Range, Pembroke. Responsibilities include cleaning, waste sorting, and grounds maintenance to keep the site safe and efficient for Armed Forces training.

You will operate plant equipment, assist with waste systems, and perform routine maintenance. The role requires a valid UK driving licence and willingness to undertake further training for safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• General housekeeping, building and grounds maintenance knowledge.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety, COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Effective communicator and positive team contributor.
• Basic IT skills with ability to use a tablet and complete documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general cleanliness across camp facilities.
• Carry out waste collection, sorting and recycling.
• Support operation of compactors and baling machines (training provided).
• Operate plant equipment such as trailers and forklifts (training provided).
• Driving and operating fleet vehicles.
• Complete planned and reactive building and grounds maintenance.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks including ablutions and accommodation blocks.
• Handover and take back site facilities from facility users.
• Manage cleaning and maintenance stock.
• Complete documentation using IT and paper-based systems.
• Carry out any other additional requirements as needed.
