About The Role

Location: Sidmouth HWRC, Bowd, Sidmouth EX10 0ND

• Salary: £25,692.74 per annum / £12.31, rising to £12.56 after plant training
• Working Pattern: Friday to Tuesday, with Wednesday and Thursday as rest days
• Progression opportunities for the right candidate
• Overtime available for holiday cover, etc.
• Monthly site performance bonus

Responsibilities

Providing excellent customer service, advising and assisting members of the public on site usage to maximize material recovery, including:

• Maintaining accurate records of material removal from the site
• Controlling container exchanges by booking loads to ensure the site has space for proper segregation and storage
• Keeping the site tidy within your responsibilities
• Performing other duties reasonably requested within the scope of the role

Requirements

Potential to gain qualifications such as IOSH health & safety and COTC level 4 (waste industry specific). We seek an enthusiastic team player to join the current site team and ensure operations exceed standards.

Essential skills include:

• Good customer service skills and ability to work in a team
• Prior mobile plant experience is desirable but full training will be provided
• Flexible approach to cover holiday and sick days if needed
