About The Role

Location: Exmouth HWRC, Salterton Rd, Exmouth, EX8 2NS

• Salary: £25,692.74 per annum / £12.31, rising to £12.56 after plant training
• Working Pattern: Saturday to Wednesday, with Thursday and Friday off
• Progression opportunities available for suitable candidates
• Overtime available for holiday cover and other needs
• Monthly site performance bonus

What will I be doing?

You will provide excellent customer service by advising and assisting members of the public on site usage to maximize material recovery. Your responsibilities include:

• Maintaining accurate records of materials removed from the site
• Managing container exchanges by booking loads with relevant personnel to ensure adequate space and proper segregation
• Keeping your designated areas tidy
• Performing any other duties reasonably requested within your role

What are the requirements?

Potential to gain qualifications such as IOSH health & safety and COTC level 4 (waste industry-specific). We seek an enthusiastic team player committed to exceeding operational standards.

Essential qualities include:

• Good customer service skills and ability to work well in a team
• Prior mobile plant experience is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
• Flexible approach to work, including covering holiday and sick days if required
