Job summary

Rullion - Eon in Sheffield is seeking a General Duties Assistant to support site operations, perform cleaning, monitoring and routine checks, and supervise deliveries. The role involves forklift use, security liaison, and contributing to safety and housekeeping on a 12-hour shift pattern.

Starting ASAP on a 12-month rolling contract with a monthly pay rate of about £2,427.69 (net), supporting the Blackburn Meadows Power site in Sheffield. Prior experience with safety procedures is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role.
• ONC/NVQ level 3 or willingness to work towards.
• Forklift truck and MEWP licences.
• Good IT literacy and familiarity with safety, environmental and procedural policies.

Responsibilities

• Undertake plant routines including cleaning, monitoring and checks.
• Manage consumables deliveries and forklift unloading.
• Coordinate deliveries and put away items at correct locations.
• Support Shift Operations and assist with maintenance.
• Monitor site security and liaise with control centre during emergencies.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping within control areas.
• Record shift logs and report to internal/external parties.
