The successful candidate will drive environmental compliance, health and safety performance, and strong customer service while balancing commercial priorities and staff development.

• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and best practices.
• Ability to manage competing priorities within a fast‑paced operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day transfer station operations to ensure safe, compliant service delivery.
• Oversee staffing, training, performance reviews and succession planning.
• Monitor KPIs, budgets and cost control; drive efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors and regulators; manage audits and inspections.
• Monitor permits, safety systems and incident investigations; implement corrective actions.
• Promote a safety‑first culture and maintain high standards of site performance.
