Job summary

Panda is seeking a Site Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of one of our processing facilities. This hands-on leadership role focuses on safety, compliance, plant performance and people management to drive reliability and efficiency.

You will own site performance, ensure operations run safely and in line with environmental and regulatory requirements, coach teams, and work with engineering to sustain preventative maintenance while delivering our sustainability goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in operational leadership within processing, recycling or manufacturing.
• Strong safety, compliance and plant performance track record.
• Experience leading teams in high-risk environments.
• Knowledge of waste/recycling operational standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a strong safety-first culture with safe systems of work and risk assessments.
• Oversee day-to-day plant operations, including processing, recovery, transport and disposal.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental permits and policies.
• Maximise uptime, throughput, quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering for preventative maintenance and site planning.
• Coach and develop site teams to high performance.
• Monitor KPIs and support budget forecasting and resource planning.
