Job summary

Panda is seeking an experienced Site Manager for Barkston to lead a 24/6 waste processing site. You will own safety, compliance, throughput and people leadership, actively on the floor, guiding teams and coordinating with engineering and compliance functions.

You will drive performance, maintain regulatory standards and deliver safe, efficient, and cost‑effective operations across the site.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in waste processing or heavy industrial settings.
• Proven ability to manage safety, compliance and performance on a live site.
• Experience leading multi‑shift operations with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead health, safety, environment and compliance on site, embedding a zero‑harm culture.
• Take ownership of day‑to‑day site operations, materials flow and permit compliance.
• Manage maintenance planning with engineering to maximise plant availability and uptime.
• Direct recruitment, development and performance reviews for site personnel.
• Balance safety with cost control and commercial contract delivery.
