Job summary

South Gloucestershire Council is seeking a Site Supervisor to manage day-to-day operations at Little Stoke and Thornbury household waste recycling centres, ensuring staff and resources are deployed efficiently and that all processes and compliance are met while providing a high level of service to customers.

You will lead a team, monitor health and safety, drive continuous improvement, and oversee rota planning and payroll-related tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in daily site operations and ensuring site cleanliness, signage, and traffic flow.
• Ability to lead a team, manage rotas, performance, and staff training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site operations and ensure full compliance.
• Allocate resources and staff to deliver a high-quality service.
• Oversee quality monitoring and drive continuous improvement.
