Job summary

Kier Group plc is hiring a Sub Agent to oversee daily site operations on our infrastructure projects in Warrington. You will coordinate engineers, forepersons and subcontractors, ensure work is delivered on time, within budget, and to high safety standards.

The role requires experience in site management, a civil engineering or construction management qualification, and the ability to read technical drawings. A full driving licence and willingness to travel between sites are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in site management, civil engineering, or construction supervision.
• Qualification in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Understanding of construction methodologies and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and project specs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations and ensure work aligns with plans and safety standards.
• Coordinate engineers, forepersons and subcontractors for efficient workflow.
• Monitor progress against project schedules and address delays.
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and risk assessments.
• Support Site Agent in managing labour, materials, and equipment.
