Are you a commercially minded finance professional looking for a role where you can genuinely influence business performance? This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading international manufacturing business as a Site Operations Accountant, working closely with site leadership to drive financial performance, operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

I am recruiting exclusively for my client, who is looking for a confident and proactive finance professional to become a key part of their site leadership team. This is much more than a traditional accounting role — it offers the opportunity to influence strategic decisions, challenge performance and make a tangible difference to the success of a busy manufacturing operation.

The Opportunity

Trusted business partner to operational and finance leaders, translating financial data into meaningful insight that supports better decision-making. You'll have real visibility across the operation, helping identify opportunities to improve profitability, control costs and enhance overall site performance.

  • Leading the monthly management reporting and insightful financial information
  • Partnering with operational teams to analyse performance, challenge variances and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Monitoring key manufacturing metrics, including labour efficiency, yield, production costs and site KPIs
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
  • Maintaining robust financial controls, balance sheet integrity and audit readiness
  • Monitoring stock, working capital and cost performance, highlighting risks/opportunities
  • Evaluating business cases and supporting capital investment decisions
  • Driving continuous improvement across financial processes, reporting systems and operational performance
  • Working collaboratively with site leadership to deliver efficiencies, strengthen controls and support long-term growth
What We're Looking For

You’ll be a qualified finance professional who combines strong technical accounting skills with commercial awareness and the confidence to challenge, influence and support stakeholders across the business.

  • A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
  • Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience, in a manufacturing or similar environment.
  • A solid understanding of operational cost drivers, production performance and KPIs.
  • Strong Excel skills and the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insight.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • The confidence to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels and influence business decisions.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with a genuine interest in continuous improvement.
What's in It for You?

This is an excellent opportunity to step into a visible, commercially focused position where your work will have a direct impact on operational and financial performance.

  • Company pension scheme.
  • Private medical insurance.
  • Enhanced sick pay.
  • Discounted or free food.
  • The opportunity to work closely with site leadership and influence key decisions.
  • The chance to develop your commercial experience within an established international manufacturing business.
Why Consider This Role?

If you're ready to move beyond routine reporting and take on a role where you can shape decisions, influence performance and contribute to meaningful business improvements, this could be the ideal next step in your career.

You’ll have the opportunity to combine financial expertise with hands‑on operational involvement, build strong relationships across the site and play a key role in supporting the continued success of the business.
