Job summary

Burrough Green Primary Academy and Great Wilbraham Primary Academy are seeking a reliable Site Officer to support maintenance, health and safety, and security across two sites. This part-time role is 10 hours per week during term time plus 2 days, with a permanent contract and NJC Scale Points 7-12, paying £14.30 per hour and starting salary £6,588 per annum.

The successful candidate will inspect buildings, carry out minor repairs, monitor heating and lighting, and ensure premises remain safe,

Qualifications

• Experience in caretaking, premises, facilities or maintenance work.
• Good DIY and practical repair skills.
• Understands health and safety requirements.
• Can work independently across two sites.

We are seeking a reliable, proactive and practical Site Officer to support the maintenance, health and safety, and security of our two primary school sites.

The successful candidate will help ensure our buildings and grounds are safe, secure, well-maintained and welcoming for pupils, staff and visitors.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in caretaking, premises, facilities or maintenance work.
• Has good DIY and practical repair skills.
• Understands health and safety requirements.
• Can work independently and manage their time effectively across two sites.
• Has good communication and organisational skills.
• Holds a full driving licence and has access to their own transport.
