Job summary

Vibe Recruit is recruiting a Site Maintenance Engineer for a permanent role in Blackwood, South Wales. The position offers 40 hours per week, covering day and afternoon shifts, with a salary of £46,000–£47,000 plus benefits.

You will join a reputable multi-site FMCG manufacturer and support maintenance across the site, ensuring asset reliability and regulatory compliance. Reporting to the Engineering Team Leader, the role focuses on planned and reactive maintenance, data logging, and continuous

Qualifications

• Time served engineer with BTEC Level 3 essential; HNC/HND desirable.
• Good knowledge of technical Health & Safety requirements.
• Experience with CMMS and fault finding on PLC/inverters.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in planned and reactive maintenance.
• Complete required documentation and service reports.
• Support strategy to optimise engineering function and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environment legislation.
• Assist in managing assets and downtime minimisation.
• Order and negotiate price of materials.
• Work with Engineer Team Leader to improve plant capability.
• Follow standards for asset realisation and contractor management.
