Rullion is seeking a Site Mechanical Engineer for a 12-month contract in Seascale. The role requires 40 hours per week, with a start ASAP subject to security clearance.

You will oversee site delivery, manage constraints, and provide technical input to the design team and subcontractors. The ideal candidate holds an HNC/HND in Mechanical engineering, nuclear site experience, and safety certifications (C3, respirator/PVC).

Formación

• HNC/HND Mechanical qualification required.
• Nuclear site knowledge preferred.
• C3 training or equivalent safety certification.

Responsabilidades

• Provide knowledge of plant constraints throughout delivery.
• Pre-approve TQ’s to allow site works to continue.
• Produce feasibility to justify design decisions.
• Offer technical site advice to subcontractors and feed back to design team.
• Manage site and parts of construction projects.
• Assist in sign-off against construction order.
• Oversee building work and ensure quality.
• Set out, level, and survey the site.
• Ensure plans, drawings and quantities are accurate for calculations.
• Manage design documents from client and ensure correct installation on site.
• Control engineering deliverables and site works.
• Liaise with client designers on compliance with design & construction regs.
• Report progress and updates to the client.
• Plan work efficiently and adapt to setbacks.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Navisworks & 3D scanning data transfer to design team.
• Provide input for Design and Constructability Reviews.
