Job summary

As Site Mechanical Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in the redevelopment of South Crofty, overseeing the installation, commissioning and long-term reliability of critical mechanical infrastructure across both surface and underground operations. From ventilation and dewatering systems to hoists, winders, mobile equipment and the processing plant, you’ll help ensure the mine is ready for safe, efficient and reliable production.

We’re looking for an experienced mechanical engineer with a strong background in heavy industry, mining or processing environments. You’ll combine technical expertise with a proactive approach to asset integrity, maintenance and continuous improvement, while working closely with project and operational teams to deliver one of the UK’s most significant critical minerals projects.
