Job summary

TXO is seeking a Site Manager to deliver telecoms NOC decommissioning projects across UK client sites. You will lead Decommissioning Assistants, coordinate TXO teams, customers and logistics, and ensure safety and on-time delivery.

The role requires hands-on leadership in construction/telecoms environments, asset inventories, and travel away from home during the week, with potential for a permanent role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing teams in construction, telecoms, data centres or related facilities.
• Experience delivering site-based projects involving equipment removal, installation, maintenance or decommissioning.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills for field-based teams.
• Experience completing asset inventories and equipment tracking.
• Health & safety awareness with training such as SMSTS, First aid at work, and working at heights.
• Willingness to travel extensively and stay away from home during the week.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Decommissioning Assistants on telecom decommissioning projects.
• Provide clear direction, allocate tasks and brief daily in‑field meetings.
• Manage site activities from mobilisation through completion, ensuring on‑time delivery within scope.
• Act as TXO representative on customer sites and maintain professional relationships.
• Monitor team performance, attendance and safety compliance.
• Coordinate equipment deliveries, collections and asset transfer records.
• Oversee safe removal and deinstallation of telecom equipment and assets.
• Maintain accurate asset inventories and TXO reporting.
