Job summary

TXO is seeking a Site Manager to deliver telecoms network decommissioning projects on client sites across the UK. You will lead a team of Deinstallation Assistants, coordinate with customers, logistics partners and TXO stakeholders to ensure safe, timely asset removals.

The role requires strong leadership and field management experience in construction or telecoms, plus the ability to travel frequently and stay away during the week.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing teams in construction/telecoms/data centres.
• Experience delivering site-based projects involving equipment removal, installation, maintenance, or decommissioning.
• Strong leadership, organisational and field-management skills.
• Experience completing asset inventories and equipment tracking.
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home during the week.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise teams of Decommissioning Assistants during telecom network decommissioning projects.
• Provide clear direction, task allocation, and daily briefings to ensure efficient site delivery.
• Manage site activities from mobilisation through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within agreed scope.
• Act as the TXO representative on customer sites, maintaining professional relationships with customers and site contacts.
• Monitor team performance, productivity, attendance, and adherence to company standards.
• Coordinate equipment collections, deliveries, and movement of assets between customer sites, warehouses, and logistics partners.
• Ensure assets are securely packaged, handled, and transported according to TXO standards.
• Liaise with logistics teams to resolve delivery or collection issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation including collection notes and asset transfer records.
• Promote a strong safety-first culture across all site activities.
• Complete and review site risk assessments, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
• Ensure compliance with TXO policies, customer requirements, and relevant legislation.
• Report incidents, hazards, and near misses promptly.
