Job summary
Wates Property Services is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee planned maintenance and retrofit projects across Herefordshire, including Hereford and Ledbury, in occupied social housing Properties. You will lead subcontractors and ensure delivery to programme, budget and quality, while maintaining safety and resident satisfaction.
Essential: SMSTS, CSCS Manager Card, First Aid at Work, and full UK driving licence; experience in social housing and energy efficiency projects; strong
Qualifications
- Experience delivering social housing planned maintenance projects.
- Experience working in occupied residential properties.
- Strong understanding of site health and safety requirements.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage site operations across planned maintenance and retrofit projects.
- Lead and coordinate subcontractors, direct operatives and suppliers.
- Ensure works meet programme, budget and quality targets.
- Maintain high health, safety, environmental and compliance management.
- Carry out site inspections, quality checks and progress reviews.
- Produce site reports and update project programmes.
- Support resident engagement and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Manage material deliveries and site logistics.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Commercial Teams and Resident Liaison Officers.
- Ensure works are handed over to specification.
