Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead social housing maintenance and refurbishment projects across tenanted properties. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, coordinate trades, monitor progress and ensure works meet programme, quality and safety requirements.

The role requires strong leadership, experience managing direct labour and subcontractors, and a solid understanding of health, safety and site compliance procedures to deliver works efficiently and safely.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Site Manager within social housing, residential maintenance or refurbishment.
• Ability to manage trades and operatives on site.
• Strong Health & Safety knowledge and site compliance understanding.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations across tenants' properties.
• Supervise and coordinate direct labour and tradespeople.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to required standards.
• Monitor progress against programme and report issues or delays.
• Carry out regular site inspections and quality checks.
• Ensure health & safety procedures and site requirements are followed.
• Identify and resolve issues arising on site.
• Ensure materials, labour and resources are available when required.
• Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
• Ensure all works comply with specifications and client requirements.
