Site Manager Social Housing Planned and Regeneration Works

Site Manager - Social Housing

Location: Welwyn

Type: Full-Time

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 Plus Van and Fuel Card

Are you a driven and experienced Site Manager ready to lead high-impact construction projects? We're looking for a proactive professional to join our dynamic team and take charge of operational delivery, health & safety compliance, and stakeholder engagement across a range of exciting developments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the preparation and execution of programmes of work, ensuring delivery within budget, time, and quality targets.
2. Enforce compliance with Health, Safety, and Welfare policies and employment legislation.
3. Interpret and implement contract requirements, ensuring all obligations are met.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, residents, and stakeholders.
5. Manage and support engineers and subcontractors, resolving technical issues and driving performance.
6. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor safety, quality, and productivity.
7. Host team communication meetings to share updates, performance feedback, and H&S information.
8. Collaborate with the commercial team to manage costs, budgets, and reporting deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Proven experience from apprenticeship through to site management.
2. Certifications: NVQ Level 4 or above.
3. Strong understanding of temporary works procedures and site administration.
4. Experience in social housing or domestic projects.
5. Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
6. Commercially aware with the ability to identify contract variations.
7. Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and technologies.
8. IT proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and PowerProject.
