Salary: £40k - £50k

Region: West Midlands

A main civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced civil site manager to work on a heavy build project based in Shispton on Stour in Gloucester. The project itself is valued at up to £7 million and involves the construction of a care home; build experience is essential.

Ideal candidate:

• 5 years’ experience as a site manager.
• Degree qualified or have a similar construction management qualification.
• Main contracting experience.
• A strong track record as a Site Manager.
• Experience seeing projects from inception to completion.
• CSCS Card.
• SMSTS certificate.
• First Aid Certificate.

The responsibilities for this role:

• Overseeing all of the site staff including subcontractors.
• Ensuring Health and Safety is up to the client’s standard.
• Responsibility for the whole site.
• Ensuring all method statements are correct.
• Site managing the project from start to finish.
