Job summary

MWH Treatment in Walton is seeking a Site Manager to lead on-site teams and coordinate safe delivery of operations at our Walton project.

You will report to the Senior Construction Manager and ensure HSQE, programme and budget adherence while mentoring the site team and maintaining constructability and resource efficiency. Experience in water/waste water projects and CSCS Site Manager accreditation are essential, with a focus on public safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Health, Safety and Environmental Management training or certification required.
• CSCS Site Manager qualification required.
• First Aid at Work certification preferred.
• Experience in water/waste water treatment sector advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the on-site team to coordinate safe management of all operational activities.
• Ensure HSQE compliance, programme delivery and budget requirements.
• Mentor and supervise the site team; optimize resource use and cost-conscious management.
• Prepare, review and update realistic scheme programmes.
• Prepare, review and brief method statements and risk assessments.
• Provide as-constructed records to the CDMC for the Health and Safety File post-completion.
• Attend all site management training as required.

Job description

We arelooking to strengthen our Construction team with a Site Manager, Site based at Walton.

You will report directly to the Senior Construction Manager and your role will coverleading and directing the site team to coordinate the safe management of all operational activities on all projects ensuring HSQE, programme and budget requirements are met.

.Key responsibilities will include:

• Ensure all works are undertaken with due regard to the needs of the local population within the immediate vicinity of the works and the travelling public as a whole
• Manage, supervise and mentor the site team as appropriate
• Adopt, maintain and promote cost conscious management through efficient use of all resources
• Ensure realistic scheme programmes are prepared, reviewed and updated
• Ensure method statements and risk assessments are prepared, reviewed, briefed and updated
• Ensure all “as constructed” records are provided to the CDMC for inclusion within the Health and Safety File in a timely manner following scheme completion
• Attend all training associated with Site management duties including appointed person, temporary works etc as required

Recognised Civil Engineering/Site Management Qualifications

• Health, Safety and Environmental Management (IOSH or Construction Managers Safety Certificate)
• CSCS Site Manager (Min)
• First Aid at Work
• Experience in the Water/Waste Water Treatment Industry
