Job summary

Kier Group plc. is seeking a Site Manager to join our Secure Environments team in Salisbury. This role focuses on delivering Defence projects across the UK, ensuring work is completed safely, on time and to budget, within a secure facility.

You will help build a new team to manage multiple projects with a strong attention to detail. You will lead on-site activities, manage subcontractors, uphold health and safety procedures, maintain records, and support team development.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable site management experience with a proven track record in delivering projects.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to support and develop a team.
• Commercial awareness and ability to manage resources, budget and schedule.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Full driving licence and eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Manage the site to ensure work is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality.
• Implement and manage health and safety procedures including weekly audits and risk assessments.
• Control and monitor resources including subcontractors to maximise efficiency and minimise costs.
• Maintain comprehensive site records including reports, diaries, progress photographs and safety documentation.
• Support team development through guidance, training and performance reviews.
