Job summary

Trant Engineering Ltd is seeking a Site Manager to ensure safe, compliant delivery on their site. You will oversee day-to-day activities, manage subcontractors, and coordinate engineering and commissioning teams to meet schedule and budget while upholding SHEQ standards.

The role requires SMSTS or equivalent, proven site management experience in water or energy projects, and a solid track record of delivering multi-disciplinary teams within programme and quality targets.

Qualifications

• SMSTS or equivalent health and safety certification.
• Proven experience as Site Manager delivering projects in water and/or energy sectors.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary site teams and subcontractors.
• Ability to deliver on programme within budget and to quality standards.
• Knowledge of UK CDM regulations and site safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site activities and subcontractor coordination.
• Ensure safe, compliant, and on-schedule delivery of works.
• Coordinate with design, engineering and commissioning teams.
• Monitor progress, resource usage, and quality documentation.
