Job summary

Upfront Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead roofing and cladding projects across London. You will manage day-to-day site operations, drive safety, quality, and programme performance while coordinating with the operations team and clients.

This full-time role offers a competitive salary and benefits package. Travel between sites is required; you will build teams and deliver sites to a high standard.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 5/6/7 in Construction Site Management or equivalent.
• Black CSCS Card.
• SMSTS certification.
• Site management experience in roofing, cladding, façades or related construction.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
• Willingness to travel to sites across London.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations for one or more sites.
• Ensure safe, high‑quality project delivery and adherence to programme.
• Induct operatives on their first day on site.
• Apply for and close permits as required.
• Implement and monitor health and safety procedures.
• Complete weekly site safety inspections and documentation.
• Manage quality control and project handovers.
• Coordinate site activities to meet programme deadlines.
• Liaise with procurement to ensure timely materials and deliveries.
• Act as the main on-site contact for clients.
• Attend progress meetings with senior management and clients.
• Produce weekly site reports using Fieldwire.
• Maintain accurate daily site diaries and workforce records.
• Report site issues promptly to senior management.
• Ensure sites are left safe and secure daily.

Salary and Package - £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus company pension, bonus scheme, birthday off each year, additional Christmas shutdown, early finish on Fridays, ongoing training, career progression and a comprehensive employee benefits package.

Location - London and surrounding areas, with travel between sites as required.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of roofing and cladding projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with programme and quality requirements.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 5, 6 or 7 in Construction Site Management or equivalent.

• Previous Site Management experience within roofing, cladding, façades or a related construction discipline.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
• Willingness to travel to sites across London.
