Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team, managing critical refurbishment projects on 400kV overhead lines within the National Grid Transmission network. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key leadership role in delivering high-voltage infrastructure projects that keep the UK's power network running.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage site operations for refurbishment works on 400kV overhead transmission lines.
• Supervise and coordinate a team of up to 30 operatives, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of works.
• Maintain full compliance with National Grid Transmission safety and quality standards.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with project plans, timelines, and budget requirements.
• Manage site reporting, including progress updates, safety records, and incident management.
• Liaise effectively with stakeholders including project managers, engineers, clients, and subcontractors.

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing overhead line projects, particularly at 400kV level.
• Strong working knowledge of National Grid standards and procedures.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing site teams on live transmission assets.
• Relevant qualifications in construction/site management, health and safety (e.g. SMSTS, CSCS, or equivalent).
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
