About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to work on major infrastructure projects within the Northeast region. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will manage operational teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Liaise with the client, sub-contractors, and other trades. Coordinate all aspects of the works to ensure project completion in line with client requirements, within budget, and on time.
- Issue Work Instructions and Risk Assessments associated with the works.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage resources required to complete works.
- Regularly monitor the delivery programme and report progress to the Project Manager.
- Ensure appropriate supervision of all sub-contractors.
- Manage and coordinate the requirement for any Client-specific safety documentation (e.g., Permit to Dig, Break / No break Zones, CDM documentation).
- Ensure installation complies with relevant Construction Drawings and Cross sections.
- Complete site audits and reports on schedule.
- Ensure weekly track sheets and diaries are completed and submitted on time.
- Deliver Toolbox Talks.
- Maintain safety of self and others whilst working.
- Work effectively as part of a wider team.
About You
- Existing experience as a site manager.
- CPCS and CSCS Cards.
- SMSTS certification.
- NRSWA Street Works Supervisor qualification.
- Confined Spaces certification.
- Deep Excavation / Temporary Works Supervisor certification.
- Emergency First Aid certification.
You will be based on site in the Northeast and may be required to travel to other sites as needed.
