Job summary

Kingdom People is seeking an experienced Site Manager in the North West of England to oversee day-to-day construction activities on site, ensuring programmes are followed and quality is maintained. You will lead the site team, coordinate subcontractors, and manage health, safety and environmental standards to deliver projects safely and on time.

Qualifications

• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work qualifications required.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the construction site.
• Take overall responsibility for site health, safety and environmental standards.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with the programme, drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
• Lead, manage and motivate site-based teams and subcontractors.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site activities to maintain programme progress.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure quality standards are consistently achieved.
• Attend and contribute to progress, coordination and subcontractor meetings.
• Maintain accurate site records, reports and relevant construction documentation.
• Identify and resolve issues efficiently, escalating where appropriate.
• Monitor site progress and communicate key information to the Project Manager and wider project team.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, professionalism and continuous improvement.
• Support the successful commercial and operational delivery of the project.
