Job summary

Kingdom People is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a respected North West regional contractor. You will lead the on-site team, coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure safety, programme, and quality on site across a range of project types.

The role is permanent with a salary of £45k to £50k plus car allowance and a comprehensive package. Applicants should have main contracting experience, SMSTS/CSCS qualifications and the ability to read drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site Manager in main contracting environments.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and site management.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the construction site.
• Take overall responsibility for site health, safety and environmental standards.
• Ensure works are delivered to programme, drawings and quality requirements.
• Lead site teams and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate site records, reports and documentation.
• Attend progress and coordination meetings and monitor progress.
• Identify and resolve issues and escalate where appropriate.
• Monitor progress and communicate key information to the Project Manager.
