Hill & Hill Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a new-build care home project in Slough, currently at groundworks. The role requires hands-on site leadership to drive works from groundworks through to completion, ensuring safety, programme and quality targets are met.

The ideal candidate will have proven site management experience on similar projects, with strong health and safety knowledge and the ability to coordinate subcontractors and resources effectively.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site Manager on new-build construction projects.
• Experience managing projects from groundworks through to completion.
• Care homes or retirement village projects experience preferred.
• Excellent health and safety knowledge.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day site operations on a new-build care home project.
• Oversee groundworks and subsequent construction phases to programme.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, procedures and quality.
• Monitor progress against programme and manage delays.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure workmanship meets specs.
• Maintain site records, reports and health and safety documentation.
• Liaise with Project Manager, consultants and stakeholders.
• Coordinate materials, labour and plant to maintain productivity.
• Foster a positive health and safety culture on site.
