About the opportunity:

In this flexible, field-based role, you will manage Pre-Feasibility Study and non PFS construction sites within your assigned region, liaising with key stakeholders to ensure timely completion of civils projects in compliance with standards and within budget. This role is suited to someone based in Milton Keynes or the surrounding areas.

What you’ll do:

1. Work closely with Project Managers to plan projects, ensuring all requirements, specifications, design drawings, and safety proposals are understood and agreed upon, with a project management program in place.
2. Maintain work schedules and track progress, providing weekly updates to Project Managers and the office.
3. Track deliveries of stock and materials to ensure availability for projects.
4. Verify that all materials meet technical and quality standards and that work complies with technical standards.
5. Ensure safety of the public, site visitors, and staff at all times.
6. Supervise and manage site operatives, overseeing their work.
7. Ensure compliance with company SHEQ policies and procedures at all times.
8. Enforce the highest SHEQ standards.
9. Collaborate with ICP and EV charge teams.
10. Work in accordance with CDM regulations.

About you:

You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a solid understanding of construction works and onsite project management, especially civils. You are a motivated team player, comfortable collaborating at all levels, and interacting with various trades and stakeholders. You value variety and have a flexible approach to travel. • Civils experience is essential!
• SMSTS Qualification
• Experience working in high-traffic public areas
• Ability to interpret site drawings
• Understanding of site surveys to avoid buried services
• Leadership, planning, and organizational skills
• Problem-solving skills to handle multiple issues simultaneously
• CSCS card holder
• Full UK Driving License
• Street works experience is a plus
• Experience with ICP / IDNO projects and sites
• Industry background/experience
• UKPIA/SPA accreditation
• NRSWA Street works qualification (Supervisor or Operative)
• Experience on petrol forecourt sites is a plus
• First Aid certification
