Operations/Site Manager

Position: Permanent

Location: Barnoldswick

Salary: A GBP 48,000

Working Hours: 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday

Our reputable manufacturing business is currently looking to recruit an Operations Manager to join their team. The role will play an integral part in the company, heading up the site and providing key leadership for the business.

Main Responsibilities of the Operations Manager

• Manage all operational areas including Production, Maintenance, and Shift Managers.
• Ensure legal and corporate compliance across the operational team, including HSE standards.
• Oversee production forecasting and analysis for all operational functions, preparing reports for various levels within the organization.
• Develop operational plans and timelines to meet business needs, covering facilities, human resources, physical assets, and supply chain management.
• Identify and implement improvements within the operational team and at the site level.
• Develop and mentor key team members, including shift managers, planning, and production support staff.

Experience and Skills Required

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an operations management role.
• NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in management or business.
• Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
• Commercial mindset with strategic thinking capabilities.
