Job summary

BMSL Group Ltd seeks an experienced Site Manager for a live supermarket refurbishment in Malvern. You will manage works in a live trading environment, ensuring safety for customers and colleagues while coordinating deliveries and access.

You will lead subcontractors across flooring, decoration, joinery and M&E, interfacing with other trades and the Morrisons site team. Daily diary and photo records, permits, inductions and RAMS sign-off are non-negotiable.

Qualifications

• SMSTS certification is required.
• CSCS card Black preferred.
• First Aid at Work certification is required.
• Asbestos Awareness certification is required.
• Fire Marshall duties experience preferred.
• Retail or occupied-premises refurbishment experience is essential.
• Hand over to day manager face-to-face at shift change.
• Full UK driving licence and own transport is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Run works in a live trading store with emphasis on safety and logistics.
• Daily liaison with store and project teams to coordinate activities.
• Manage subcontractors ( flooring, decoration, joinery, M&E ).
• Interface with other contractors on site (e.g. refrigeration).
• Maintain daily diary, photo records, permits, inductions and RAMS sign-off.

BMS require an experienced Site Manager for ongoing works for a Supermarket Project commencing on the 28/09 in Malvern

You will be experienced in the following:

• Run works in a live trading store - customer and colleague safety, hoarding, segregation and deliveries
• Daily liaison with the Store Manager and the Morrisons site team
• Manage subcontractors - flooring, decoration, joinery, M&E
• Interface with other contractors on site (e.g. refrigeration)
• Daily diary, photo records, permits, inductions, toolbox talks and RAMS sign-off

You must posess teh following:

• Fire Marshall
• Retail or occupied-premises refurbishment experience
• Hand over to the day manager face-to-face at shift change
• Confident with photo records and daily reporting - records are non-negotiable on this account
• Able to work unsupervised and make the call on safety, access and store liaison
• Full UK driving licence and own transport Nice to have
• Supermarket / Live retail fit-out or refresh experience
• Temporary Works Supervisor, IPAF/PASMA
• Experience alongside a concurrent Principal Contractor (e.g. refrigeration, HVAC, Fast track fit out)
