WPS in Crawley is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead day-to-day operations on construction and refurbishment projects. You will supervise site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest standards.

This role demands hands-on leadership and a proactive approach. The ideal candidate will hold SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid at Work, a full UK driving licence, and a track record of delivering quality outcomes across complex sites.

Formación

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction, refurbishment, maintenance, or fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and site management best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience working with subcontractors and driving performance on site.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee all on-site construction activities and ensure efficient project delivery.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour.
• Ensure works are completed safely, on programme, and within budget.
• Drive a strong health and safety culture across the site.
• Monitor quality standards and ensure works meet client expectations.
• Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and progress meetings.
• Identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues quickly and effectively.
• Maintain project records and provide regular progress updates to senior management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and site teams.
